Health and Welfare
The School Nursing Service is committed to the health improvement of children and young people.
School Nurses have a special responsibility for:
- Promoting healthy lifestyles and healthy schools
- Child and adolescent mental health (emotional health and well-being)
- Chronic and complex health needs
- Vulnerable children and adolescents
Our School Nurse is Mrs Diane Bullock, based at Clitheroe Health Centre.
She can be contacted on 01200 425171 or via school.
Sarah visits us regularly in school and has input into elements of our PSHE programme. Sarah also offers a weekly drop-in session during Thursday lunchtimes, offering confidential help, advice, information and support for both pupils and staff.
Health and education are working in partnership for the good of our school community.
